Today we learned the ए maatraa. The ए maatraa goes above the consonant:
क + ए = के म + ए + र + आ = मेरा We learned the following words: मेरा / मेरी (meraa / merii) (my) केला (kelaa) (banana) पेट (pet) (stomach) शेर (sher) (lion) पेड़ (peR) (tree) सेब (apple)A note about मेरा / मेरी: मेरा is used if what belongs to you is masculine. मेरी is used if what belongs to you is feminine.
